This policy explains how Morocco Tours Marrakech (“we”, “us”), based in Marrakech, Morocco, collects and uses personal data when you visit moroccotoursmarrakech.com or contact us about a trip.

What data we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, the tour you are interested in, your preferred dates, the number of travellers and your message.
- Email and WhatsApp: the information you choose to send us.
- Bookings: details needed to arrange your trip, such as traveller names, pick-up locations, dietary needs or other requests.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as IP addresses, in server logs for security and to keep the website running.
Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, at your request.
- To arrange and deliver the trip you book with us.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- To protect the website against spam and misuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to receive marketing messages.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with the providers involved in your trip, such as hotels, desert camps and local guides, and with our technical providers: our web host (Hostinger) and our email and messaging services, including WhatsApp when you choose to contact us that way. Some of these providers may process data outside Morocco.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Booking records are kept for as long as required by law for accounting and tax purposes.
Cookies
Our website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Some technical storage may be used to make features work, such as the WhatsApp chat window and spam protection on our form. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing contact@moroccotoursmarrakech.com. We process personal data in line with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including an encrypted (HTTPS) website and limited access to enquiry details.
