Koutoubia minaret in Marrakech with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains behind

Private guided tours

Marrakech city tours

Explore the medina on foot with a licensed local guide, for half a day or a full day, or take a gentle camel ride in the Palmeraie.

How to choose

Half day or full day?

Half day, about 4 hours

The essential Marrakech: the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the souks, with a licensed local guide who walks at your pace.

Full day, about 7 hours

An unhurried day in the medina: palaces and tombs in the morning, then the Ben Youssef Madrasa, hidden gardens and the craft quarters in the afternoon, and Jemaa el-Fna at the golden hour.

Outside the medina: the Palmeraie

The palm grove on the northern edge of the city is about 20 minutes from the medina. Around an hour on a camel and a mint tea break make it an easy outing for families and first-time riders.

Good to know

The guided tours are on foot and entrance fees to monuments are not included. Comfortable shoes help in the medina lanes; see our guide to what to wear in Morocco.
