Day by day

  1. Day 1

Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Depart Marrakech in your private vehicle and travel through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic mountain scenery and stops along the winding roads.

Continue to Aït Ben Haddou, the famous fortified village built from earthen materials. Explore its historic lanes and viewpoints before continuing towards Ouarzazate and through the landscapes of southern Morocco.

Travel along the Valley of Roses and into the Dades region, where dramatic rock formations and winding roads create a memorable introduction to the southern valleys.

Arrive at your accommodation in the Dades Valley for the evening.

  2. Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

Enjoy the morning scenery of the Dades Valley before continuing east towards Tinghir and the spectacular Todra Gorge. Take time to walk through the canyon and admire its towering rock walls.

Continue through the oasis landscapes and traditional settlements of southeastern Morocco, passing through the Tinejdad and Erfoud area before reaching Merzouga.

As the afternoon light softens, head towards the Erg Chebbi dunes. Depending on your package and conditions, enjoy a camel trek or another transfer to your desert camp. Watch the colors of the dunes change at sunset, then settle in for dinner and a night beneath the Saharan sky.

  3. Day 3

    Merzouga – Rissani – N’Kob – Draa Valley – Agdz

Wake early if you would like to experience sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel towards Rissani, a historic market town associated with the Tafilalet oasis.

Continue west through desert-edge landscapes and villages, including the N’Kob area, known for its traditional kasbah architecture. The scenery gradually changes as you enter the Draa Valley, where long stretches of palm groves follow the river and contrast with the surrounding arid mountains.

Take opportunities for photographs and short stops along the way, then spend the night in Agdz or another suitable accommodation in the Draa Valley region.

This overnight stop breaks up the return journey and makes the trip more comfortable than driving all the way back to Marrakech in one day.

  4. Day 4

Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, continue through the Draa Valley towards Ouarzazate. Enjoy the changing scenery as the palm groves give way to dry mountain landscapes and the southern foothills of the High Atlas.

Begin the journey back across the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with scenic stops when road and weather conditions allow. Arrive in Marrakech later in the day, where your private tour concludes with drop-off at your agreed location.
