Snow-capped peaks above the lake at Oukaimeden

Private day trip from Marrakech

Oukaimeden High Atlas Day Trip

Oukaimeden sits about 80 km from Marrakech in the High Atlas, with a ski area between roughly 2,600 and 3,200 metres. In winter it is Morocco's main ski station when snow allows; the rest of the year it is a cool, open plateau for walks, with prehistoric rock engravings near the village.

Good to know

Snow is never guaranteed: the ski season usually runs from December to March, depending on the year. It is much colder than Marrakech at any time of year, so bring a warm layer. The last part of the road is winding.

Every trip is private and can be adjusted: dates, pace, stops and the comfort level of your accommodation. Prices depend on group size and season, so we send a written quote with everything that is included.
